It depends on what I want out of my coffee in that moment and the time I’m looking to invest. Most of the time, I use the little pour over cup as my current “go to”.
I did a French press this morning for the first time in a few months for something different. The percolator might be my favorite method but I usually only do it when I have guests over who also want coffee (my wife drinks tea). The perc is too large to just do a cup.
The chemex is the least used but once In a blue moon, I will.
I always grind at time of brewing and for the most part buy from a local roaster that I like.
Life is too short to drink cheap coffee!
