St Bernard’s Flake in a Ben Wade Lovat to start off with this morning.

He's a handsome fella. Looks like he's been sheared only very recently - and why not the chest? Is he a Texel cross of some kind?Headed out to check on the Breeding Ram and the ewes.
Smoking some '17 Yorktown in the Ali.

Russia's premier pipe maker (an unofficial title, but long undisputed and uncontested). Vladimir Grechukhin has been heard of more often recently in connection with the St. Petersburg Pipe Club, of which he is an honorary member. Whenever the conversation turned to his pipes, it was always said: Grechukhin is a living legend, the best pipe maker of the 1970s-1990s. Vladimir Grechukhin began making pipes in 1969. At the age of 19, he apprenticed in the workshop of Alexey Borisovich Fedorov, a legendary Soviet-era pipe maker whose pipes were iconic in the 1960s and 1970s. He is the founder of the Russian, St. Petersburg school of pipe making. Fedorov considered Grechukhin the most talented of his students and highly valued his professional artistic education – Vladimir Grechukhin combined work on pipes with studies at the Mukhin School in the Department of Industrial Aesthetics (Design).Wow............the depth of information found on this forum is bottomless.
