I remember when shows had the hippest theme songs... Taxi, Barney Miller, Sanford&Son, Fish. I think the last really hip theme song was Night Court. I also remember when people used the word "hip". Sigh.
Oh yeah, and "very special episodes" that were actually gripping and heart breaking, and taught lessons on real life and death stuff.

I remember the Tonya Harding days. When athletes new what taking a knee meant.

Or the old days of 2000 when you could say hello to a woman in public and it would not be called rape in certain political areas.

Or the good days I could go to the grocery store and not be subjected to the multi color hair people walking around in bandage gear, or have to deal with 40 year old guys with waist length beards dressed as Disney princesses
I live in a fairly small town in mid-Kansas and have to admit I'm a bit taken aback whenever I see this 1 guy that likes to show up wearing a beard, mascara, earrings and a black dress in our Walmart.

Was fond of the Cheers theme song.

If you like those shows, you must love "MeTV". As for me, I don't miss them at all. (except for Ernest T. Bass). puffy

12 pages and almost one month later, and I still remember post #22 in this thread.

I have no idea why, but it sticks in my brain like "I Got You Babe" on Groundhog Day. 😆

My school bus driver from Alaska ended up somewhere in Kansas... and of that persuasion... 🙃
