Ha ha, I had to look up "corkage", geeze, I'm my days we call it unscrewage😂
I was at an Italian restaurant some years ago with a few bottles that we had brought along.
The very young waiter (probably 18 or 19yo), on his 1st day working, looked puzzledly at the bottles and asked "how do I open these?"
He had never seen a bottle with a cork 😁

No surprises, just a massive bill.

Seriously though, looks like an incredible selection.
Must have been marvelous.
The wine is all contributed, so the only bill is for the food.
The bottle of DRC Grands Echezeaux (current prices) alone will pay for all the food twice over.
So we dine well, but affordably due to the largese of a few of the group.
