I’ve spent way too much. However, my purchasing has significantly decreased each year. I don’t need anymore tobacco. So I feel good about it. Hey, it’s my enjoyment. Hard to put a value on that. But it sure beats the price that some other hobbies cost.

I try not to think about such things. The way I figure it, if it's not something that's ever even covertly dwelling in my subconscience, that's one less potential piece of ammunition for wifey to extract via hypnosis and use as a bargaining chip against me later. So far as I know, she's not into using hypnosis, but in this day and age, life is full of surprises, many of them unpleasant ones. I ain't takin' any chances.

On the more serious note. Every cent I've spent on pipe tobacco has been well spent. And personally if I was going to do a cost analyzes of pipe tobacco costs. I'd break it down by cost per smoke. Sort of the way that even the expensive teas cost less per cup of tea if home made then cheap bagged tea costs at a shop. I think that measure is far more meaningful. And even the prices people complain about when taken as the cost to smoke for 45-60 minutes are often insanely affordable.

I must be getting slow with age. I don't understand at all what you're talking about. Do you? cray
It’s good that you don’t.
I do understand. We’ve got some Nazi Sympathizers posing as free thinking men.
It can be accepted or rejected, we’ll see how it goes.

I see. You're probably right. My wife thinks I must be a "Nazi Sympathizer" because I watch a lot of shows about the war and Nazis. She must know what she's talking about, she's Jewish. puffy
