As to why this doesn't seem to be used in American blends?

I know a cavendish is supposed to have little to no nicotine after steaming, but the burley cavendish can kick like a mule with nicotine.

Mind that prince Albert is considered 50% burley cavendish

Right off of the top of my head Red Virginia Cavendish, Blockade Runner, Black Frigate, and Autumn Evening. Likely others as well.
