Today I opened a five pound bag of Buoy Gold aging since late December, with a little help from my cat.

A freshly opened bag fills the garage with the aroma of high grade alfalfa.

That $60 or so bag (taxes paid and delivered) will render at least 450 cigarettes a pound, more like 500.

Someday Big Tobacco in concert with the do gooders and the dad blasted gubbermint are going to tax or regulate 3 cent smokes from the face of the earth.

But today, if you smoke cigarettes once you get hooked on your favorite bulk shag you’ll never pay regular prices again for less quality.

I also have a fiver stewing, along with several one pounders, which I double bagged in 7mil Mylar.
What brand/size Mylar bags are you using to bag the one pounders? I just ordered some more D&R one pounders and I want to delay the hassle of breaking it down. Putting the pounders straight into Mylar seams easier for now and deal with it five or more years down the road as needed.

Not how I’d do it. Parcels it out now into 2oz jars or Mylar.

I’ve liked the bags from discountmylar. Jesse uses a different vendor that he likes, so they must be good, too.

I misunderstood what you meant. I thought you were putting unopened one pound bags into a Mylar bag for long term storage. I am currently using Pleasant Grove Farms 7 mil one quart bags. I put three 8 oz jars worth in each bag and transfer to 8 and 4 oz jars when I open a bag.

It’s great by itself or as a base for almost any other types of blends that I enjoy. Haven’t done a VaPer yet, that’s next.
I bought five one pounders today. I had planned on buying a five pound bag but surprisingly it was a dollar less for five one pound bags. Now I need to order some more one quart Mylar bags.

Is pipe smoking really popular in the inbreeding community, or is inbreeding really popular in the pipe smoking community?

Either way, this whole thread smells like moonshine and missing teeth.
