There may be a 12 step program for this. Or, maybe you need a full intervention. You sit in the middle of a circle of your friends,..... they shout out disparaging remarks about you, as a person,..... you beg their forgiveness and then give out all of your cellared tobacco to them!!! Voila! You're cured!
And you think "I'm" sick ! 😉

After getting a positive response to my posts about my "stash", I figure some of you might like to see some pics. This is most of it, but here are more cans in those drawers and there is a large Igloo ice chest full. Doubt if I'll be buying any tobacco for quite a while. puffy
I just bought a 15# cellar a few weeks ago that I did not need. I bought it for just a few tins I really wanted. It puts me at well over 100# now - it just sort of happened.........
I'm discovering new blends I would have never thought to be interested in.
And, I'll be selling some choice aged.
And I plan on giving a tobacco blessing for Secret Santa.
I do hope to keep myself under control for a long time now.
Oh, is that HH Acadian Perique? Never tried that...
I keep telling myself that the cavendish would probably ruin it for me.

Has anyone gotten stuck with too many blends you dislike? I’ve got about 15 tins of Bengal Slices that I will never smoke.
I'm sure I have, but haven't found out yet as I'm still exploring new to me blends I've already acquired.
But I don't see too much problem with trading or selling those dislikes off to others.
OTOH, with a large cellar, one may cycle through "disliked" blends as the palate seems to rotate over the years / decades. I'm thinking that may be my experience as I've got variety over depth in my stash, and my palate seems to prefer that. Even if I find a fantastic tin I know I want more of, it's generally intended for sometime in the future. I almost never wish to have another one "now".

I started buying 5-6 tins of each blend I thought I would like and ended up in the same boat. I’ve given away more tins with a couple bowls out of them than I can recall at this point.

Naturally, the ones I find that I seem to enjoy are discontinued or difficult to source. 🙄

Same thing for me. Love my cluster-mess of a cellar. Possibly 100 blends. Or more. I don’t know. I’ve only gone kinda deep on a few. Have yet to come across a blend that I didn’t like at least a little, and I have yet to smoke a second tin of any one blend yet.

Seems strange to me to horde so much leaf that you cant possibly smoke it in a lifetime. I'm personally in the camp of buying what I need, then maybe dive in on the small batch or cottage blender pool. SO my cellar will reflect that. I will be going deep on several blends in each genre and calling it a day. I see no reason to pokemon tobacco.

It’s the free shipping threshold theory. You buy what you want, then other things to get the free shipping threshold, because I will be damned if I am paying 8$ for shipping. It all adds up quickly.

totally makes sense. But being that I get screwed via taxes shipping seems of little consequence at that point. I end up not saving that much money .
