Stupid Things You Notice About Yourself?

I noticed two stupid things about myself.
1st most of my PMs here are about comments I would have made if the thread hadn't closed. Just did that today.
2nd thing is my mind without my active involve will make parody versions of pop songs. Today it came up with a version of Karma Chameleon where the chorus went "you're my lover, not Mcguyvere", and the rest of lyrics are about the lover thinking they can make martial aids out of house hold items. WTF is going on with my brain?

The stupid things I notice about myself are dwarfed by the ones I don't notice. I rely on the kindness of others to point them out to me, preferably at times when I am most vulnerable to the power of suggestion e.g. asleep.

My problem is cutting idiots too much slack, caught myself doing that this morning. Someone was suggesting that I should receive medical care at home from completely unqualified strangers. At first I was kind...

They don't seem to be trying very hard. Is there a "how can we do better" form that I can fill out?

I make fundamental attribution errors more than I’d like.

When explaining others' behavior I often attribute their actions to their character or disposition (e.g., they are lazy, rude, or incompetent).

When explaining my own behavior I often attribute my actions to external circumstances (e.g., I was having a bad day, or something was out of my control).

I’m working on it but sometimes those fuckers really are just lazy, rude, and incompetent

Eh, relatively speaking we're all on this earth a very short time. Maybe by enjoying pipe tobacco I'll have a slightly shorter time on this planet as a result. Or maybe I get hit by a bus tomorrow. Or maybe the reduced stress or by occupying my idle time by smoking instead of eating or drinking it will result in a few extra years on this planet. Who's to say?

And as far as the money, you can't take it with you. I trade many hours of my life to a job to afford to live, I can exchange a small portion of that compensation for something that makes me enjoy my free time more.

It's all about perspective

As for stupid things I notice about myself, obviously number 1 is thinking anyone needs to hear my ramblings haha.
