I should have that copy🤔

"Should have" as in, you know one is in a box somewhere in a closet but you'd have to hunt to find it?

Or, the copy I have should be in your hands if there was any justice in the PipeWorld?

Cuz if it's B---you knew the article existed but haven't seen it in years---Hoover just meowed to me that he'd be glad to take some photomographs of it and post 'em here on the KevinBoard.

I'm adding this response from Mr Woods about this pipe in order to illuminate some nomenclature details that I was unaware of for a Ferndown pipe.

Hi there sorry for the delay in answering,
that pipe is a 1star straight grain the pipe was made before 2010 as all pipes after that time were silver mounted i never stamped a size on the straight grain,
all the bark reo and root from the normal production were stamped with there size 1* 2* 3* and the odd 4*
but your pipe is a plateau turned pipe straight grain 1* a really nice pipe turned as a bark finished top straight grain billard
it looks like it has not been smoked much if any
i am happy to answer anything you want to know (if i can remember i am 77 )

Les

I was expecting an SG stamp to connote a straight grain pipe, that expectation was clearly incorrect.
