My only hope is that they ship on Monday so I can smoke it by Thanksgiving. I also hope, in my boozy state, that I didn't enter my cc details wrong. Cheers lads, and good luck on the next release. My info autofilled except for the state and my credit card just requires my fingerprint to have it fill in - didn't have to set up an account, maybe took a minute to order the Thanksgiving and a few others. Didn't realize this would be so popular, I guess I'm glad I was awakened in the middle of the night, lol.
So now that I got my order for anyone in the future that wants to buy some here's what to expect. It's a very loose cake, basically fell apart as soon as the bag opened. Smells more like an English blend more than anything else; I picked up more fruit smells from their tropical fruit blend. Haven't smoked yet but will do so this weekend and give an update. All n all a nice pick up and maybe something I'd age more and smoke throughout the years.

Enjoying some now. At first light I most definitely got the Latakia coming through and now several minutes in it’s settled down, for lack of a better description, and we are now getting along very well. Guess that’s possible - upon lighting I didn’t think I was going to like it at all, lol.
What pipe are you smoking it out of? Im tempted to smoke it in my peterson 303 but I also have a tall billiard I could try to smoke it in.
My experience too. I jarred it in Nov. 2024. I tried a bowl just last week, and it was not very good at all.
Well it sounds good flavor wise if you like pineapple flavored gin.
But did following the popular kids pay off?
it tastes nothing like that if anything it tastes more like a strong burly blend rather then those notes of fruit
I've been enjoying an ounce or so the last couple weeks from a cellar purchase recently. I think it's 2019. The flavors are slightly "aromatic" to me, which I typically don't like, but this one has been pleasing to my crazy palate. One of the flavors I get is slight black licorice / fennel; but it's much tamer than any others I've tried with that flavor and worked for me. I'd recommend but not gonna chase, as I've got lots of other goodies to grab from.
Did you notice the smell more after jarring or when you first got it. If you can remember.
I bought a "cellar" 1-2 months ago that had some of it in a jar, so I have no idea.
But for me, it was light in the palate, not so much in the nose.
