Thats Awesome man. I bet that was a good time. Both times he was in St. Augustine, he was there for like 3 nights. Next time around though I hope I can get me some tickets. Dad passed away on Wednesday, after a short illness (influenza), 3 days short of his 103rd birthday
I can’t recall ever seeing him with a pipe, but he smoked cigarettes for years - Players Navy Cut, Lucky Strike, Peter Stuyvesant, Benson&Hedges.
He stopped smoking in 1985 after a heart attack
So here’s to you Dad

Being a cigarette smoker, I thought Dad would be happy with the blend of Burley, Virginia and Cavendish in MacBaren’s Navy Flake

Near the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2012 Esoterica Dorchester in a straight smooth brown 1920s KBB Rocky Briar 1582 patent no.298978 with a B in a circle bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Just fed Daisy the Feral Princess who was snoozin' until she heard me to go the kitchen to get more coffee. The other two ferals are outside. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Molly Danger is on m'lady's lap.

I can’t recall Dad playing cricket, but he was keen spectator of test cricket (on the TV)
103 is a pretty good innings, considering he got dropped on 62 (a heart attack at that age)

Now smoking Wilke Little Round Top in an undated straight smooth brown pre-Republic Peterson’s Sterling bulldog 150 with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Cleaned the pipes that I smoked this evening.
