By no means a fan as I only really watched SB email #58 when it came out and some random ones around that time. #58 will always be burned in my head though.

Man, I used to be obsessed with HSR like, 20 years ago. I even debated about doing a metal cover of "Trogdor".

Does remembering Flash animation mean I'm old now?
I was in college with an audio/music population at the time of the Trogdor release, and there was a group of students who recorded a metal version of it in the studio as part of their class project. It was pretty amusing back then!

Oh man, blast from the past!
Fall of 2004, freshman year at college, dude would project this on the wall in the hallway and we'd all sit around outside our dorm rooms and watch.
I had completely forgotten. Loved this.

Brother it’s been so long since I’ve thought of Homestar Runner. I’d watch it with my older sisters, and sickanimation. Pre-YouTube days… The internet was much more enjoyable back then, before it was with you everywhere in your pocket.
and before everything was monetized or people realized how much reach the internet really has.

Yeah, not everything back then was a hit, but it wasn't nearly as bait-y like so much of it is now. There's still good stuff out there though.

Thinking about those glory days gone by, now I got stuck in my head that Papa Smurf song swapping back and forth with that Star Wars rap.

Share my earworms...

So many of the people who became big at that time, thought basically hey here is an easy way to show my friends the silly or cool things I have made.
