Anniversary celebration today, albeit cut short with an early dinner before the Yom Kippur fast begins. First smoke of the month was Mac Baren Black Ambrosia in my aromatic pipe, a Savinelli Miele 641 KS smooth bent apple. Wifey joined me with a cigarillo. I'd say that after 14 years, we get along pretty well...at least when we're not sitting in front of a Scrabble board. 9/10

Bird report: House finch, California scrub-jay, Band-tailed pigeon, White-crowned sparrow, Dark-eyed junco, California towhee, California quail, American crow, Bushtit, White-breasted nuthatch, Northern flicker, Mountain chickadee, Steller's jay, and Spotted towhee.

Thanks, MM! It was in a group of estates I bought. Wasn’t sure about the grain of it in the photos that were posted as it’s darker stained, but it cleaned up nicely! Still have some work to do on it. I had to see how it smoked though, it’s winner!

This here on my list. Ive seen a few people been smoking this lately. I've had the Low Country Pee Dee and really enjoyed it. I'll have to try this too. Also on my current list to try is Orion's Arrow and Shandygaff, Three Friars and Exclusive.

Aladino Connecticut Robusto. Drinking black coffee. Sitting on my back porch with my boy and we had a visitor. Poor thing looks pregnant and starved. I stole a can of Salmon from the kitchen, had to sneak it because my wife gets mad when I feed the cats but this cat needed some food. She ate a little bit but then went to go nap in a flower pot. Hope she survives.

Everybody on the OJKB today, I'm getting jealous. Beautiful Pete. Show them boys out there how it's done brother. Cutting concretes hard work. With them big heavy water cooled saws. I always tell the concrete guys, they don't get paid enough. Stay cool out there brother. Happy Smokes.

Starting off my smoking day with a bowl from a freshly opened tin of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. It's time to feed the cats. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
