Did a set of walking reps, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Daisy the Feral Princess actually went to the driveway to watch me for a couple of laps before she went back to the deck and body blocked the steps. I gave her some attention, and she followed me in the eat again. She's laying by my feet.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am part way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star 50th, neat, is my drink. Guardians and Tigers are tied 1-1 in the 6th.

Man, you folks have already posted over 60 comments and smokes for the new month before I get even one......

But, after doing some chores and changing the oil in the farm four-wheeler, I decided I would start October with a good Burley. Having C & D Burley Flake #4 in my Savinelli Alligator Tortuga 673 and enjoying the nic hit. I had some more Gatorade which offset the vitamin N hit so I wouldn't stagger around, ha.

You know, they say "Let sleeping dogs lie..." So, I think I will do just that.............

Jim, I wanted to ask you and @PaulRVA who you are both pulling for to make it to the World Series?

With your team, the Braves and Paul's Mets, both being National league clubs I'm interested in who your favs are of the teams that are in contention.

I pretty much like them all with the exception of the White Sox and Yankees as far as Baseball goes.
My Oriole’s and Mets are out of it however I’d like to see the Tigers do something and I wouldn’t have any gripe about Toronto doing something either. The Dodgers of course have Mookie Betts who I like and that’s the wife's team of choice.
All in all I really don’t have a dog in the fight except the Tigers so I’m kinda pulling for them and so far that only worked in 1984 😂

A quarter of the way through the last of this tin of year 2012 Butera Pelican in a 1970s slight bend black sandblasted English Rustic 120S Billiard (Comoy’s second) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This pipe originally belonged to my college art mentor, the late professor Walter Barker. I had a little extra so when I got to the first third, I refilled it with the rest. Ice water and bergs is my drink. The Guardians struck back with timely hitting, and have a good chance to win this game. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Daisy the Feral Princess is snoozin' on her favorite blanket on the couch. Harry the Hairy is snoozin' in a comforter.

I'm not rooting for a particular team. I like things (and players) about most of the teams and just want to see good baseball.

Anniversary celebration today, albeit cut short with an early dinner before the Yom Kippur fast begins. First smoke of the month was Mac Baren Black Ambrosia in my aromatic pipe, a Savinelli Miele 641 KS smooth bent apple. Wifey joined me with a cigarillo. I'd say that after 14 years, we get along pretty well...at least when we're not sitting in front of a Scrabble board. 9/10

Bird report: House finch, California scrub-jay, Band-tailed pigeon, White-crowned sparrow, Dark-eyed junco, California towhee, California quail, American crow, Bushtit, White-breasted nuthatch, Northern flicker, Mountain chickadee, Steller's jay, and Spotted towhee.

Happy October all!
