Hey guys. I’m currently on the market for a great smoking affordable pipe. I have a couple nice pipes right now but I want something a little bit more cost effective. Probably in the $50 to $80 dollar range & briar. Not looking for corncobs as I got a few already. More like low key brands or pipe makers who are making great smoking pipes but maybe they’re simple or have defects but still smoke great. Thus far I’ve heard of Rossi pipes and Morgan Bones pipes for example. But looking to cultivate more options to see what’s out there. Thanks for you time!

I don't have any advice on low key pipe makers for that price range, but I have purchased most of my pipes in that range.
If you're not turned off by estate pipes, that's a great option.
You can look at local flea markets and find great ones sometimes.
Or, Smokingpipes has a good selection.

Here's a Parker for $80 there right now that I'm trying to make myself not buy. lol
If you don't know about that brand, it's worth reading about. It was created by Alfred Dunhill in the 1920s.

Maybe I just got lucky but my estate bones outsmokes a bunch of 300$+ pipes from my collection🤷🏼‍♂️

How well a pipe smokes can be altered by anything. Its scary.

The Japanese beverage industries conducted perhaps 3 years of testing to determine the best way to drink almost EVERYTHING sold in japan from soft drinks to tea to coffee to alcohol.

Its wierd to see how much the impact that a person drinking a beverage from a glass with flat sides and round corners, has when they drink from a round corner versus flat edge.

That's right but I meqn it's my "pay no attention pipe" and it just does amazingly with whatever I throw at it.

No problem.
Here's a Parker that I picked up at a flea market for $50.00.
It's a fantastic smoking pipe.

I have a modern Dr Grabow. I think I paid $42 for it. Great smoker. Very light. Small bowl size but that’s a plus for me. Some dislike the abs plastic stem/aluminum tenon, but I like it. The plastic requires no maintenance but light cleaning. It’s fairly soft and good for clenching. The aluminum tenon makes it easy to take apart for cleaning.
