They come up for sale occasionally, Erstavals had one about 8 months ago, unsmoked.I've mentioned this pipe a number of times over the past few years. Wish I had one as it's truly lovely.

Always looked more like an Elm Street promo than a Christmas pipe to me.Poul Winslow did one of the best many moons ago.

Freddy is the true spirit of Christmas!
He knows when you are sleeping. He knows when you're awake.Freddy is the true spirit of Christmas!
OK, that's the exact pipe I mentioned in my previous post that I said was "blatantly Christmas".Poul Winslow did one of the best many moons ago.

I agree bob.I prefer the ones that have more of a hint of Christmas over the pipes that are more clearly Christmas themed. What's is your preference?
For example the new Peterson Christmas pipes don't scream Christmas to me but do have a subtle warmth that seems right for the holiday.
The pipes that I've seen that scream Christmas almost feel like they're intended to be smoked during holiday events and not year round. Which is fine but not what I like too much.
Love Poul's work.. he's definitely one of my favorite artisans. I just don't understand why he's stopped doing almost any freehand crown dublins anymore... I think they were without a doubt his best, most signature shape. They're also definitely his most popular as the few he still does are snapped up almost instantly while the others seem to languish on the shelves. I have one of his examples, actually in my background here, that I bought after a previous one I wanted even more that I'd been eyeing sold out from under me... But even though I've been keeping up with his drops for years I haven't been able to find another one that I enjoy nearly as much these days...Poul Winslow did one of the best many moons ago.
I like him too. His band materials are cool. I thought I had heard he had retired but then I saw new stock of his on smoking pipes recentlyLove Poul's work.. he's definitely one of my favorite artisans.
