Been sitting on a tub of Captain Black Grape for a while. Broke it out today with a glass of bourbon. I’m not ashamed to say, this is good stuff. Ok… it’s my 2nd glass of bourbon but I don’t think it’s impacting my judgement.

Ok, ok! I was actually drinking WhistlePig. But the grape tobacco really was good.
Whistle Pig isn’t a bourbon, it’s a rye whiskey.

If there's ever another run of Captain Black Grape I definitely need to get my hands on some! I'm a nearly daily smoker of Captain Black Original and the sort of vile heathen who actually quite likes Captain Black Cherry, so I assume their Mad Grapist would be right up my alley! 
The Castello Antiquari Canadian? It got thrown out with the majority of my pipes back in early spring. All I've got now are a Savinelli 904 alligator, two Falcons, and a Fatih meerschaum tulip. I was doing a coloring experiment with the Fatih but I haven't smoked it for about a month. I may get back to it at some point.
CB Grape is one blend that if I had a tub I’d have just kept it sealed and profiteered it on tinbids to buy some good tobacco…

Time for my regular comment that C&D's Captain Bob's Blend is a regularly available blend with a shockingly delicious grape Kool-Aid jar note and a flavor that surprises: you will taste an actual honest-to-goodness English aromatic with an intriguing fruit note, and it's actually pretty good tobacco!
