I had a previous order with the guy that was smooth sailing. This one was like a bad pipes and cigars order. Read through his emails, he first says that he will send replacements right away. Then in a later email he says he needs the damaged tins back first. The denting in the tin will create a greater chance of tin failure in 10 years than a non dented damaged tin.
I read them, did you? Because I'm failing to see anywhere he said he was sending them "right away".

Sorry the thread isn't going your way, but no need to invent crap that isn't there when we can all see the screenshots with our own eyes.

All good guys I will post the emails one by one, you will notice how the guy never takes responsibility for the poor packaging
You may have an argument with the packaging. The tins should be protected somehow. I don’t think you have any argument with the return process. Every time I’ve ever returned literally anything, the seller always wants the original damaged item first. What they offered and asked for is pretty straightforward. My question is why wouldn’t you send back the damaged tin in the first place like they asked? This could have been resolved amicably a long time ago.

“The pictures and packaging materials are beside the point honestly. I was going to attempt to file a claim with USPS but I'd rather not go through the hassle. It would take too long and I'd rather get you squared away as quickly as possible! I was able to gather up two tins to send you as replacements. I'll follow up with an email containing your tracking information on the two tins I'll be sending you.

I've attached a copy of your return label. Please send the two tins at your earliest convenience.

Then why did this one have almost no packaging material inside and just tins clanking around?
I'm not sure honestly! I always make sure they are packaged carefully. I've had hundreds of orders since opening the shop and not a single complaint about my packaging honestly. Well, until now.

The offer still stands, you have the return label in your inbox and I still truly am sorry your tins arrived with dents!

These emails took place over a couple days, he originally told me he would ship out replacements immediately. Then later in an email several hours later said he wanted the tins first

This is what was originally sent then hours later he wanted me to ship back first. Not once did he acknowledge that he dropped the ball on the packaging. Like I said earlier, if this was a damaged box by usps we would be in an entirely different conversation. It was his response and inability to be accountable.

He invented “my recent orders have not gone well” - only one order after the one that was great - so exaggerating the problem from the start.

It’s all about wanting to rip someone on the internet over a literal nothing.

Was the seal even damaged on the tins. I get dented tins relatively frequently and if I don't smell tobacco I just throw them in the cellar with the rest. Just a week ago I ordered from 4noggins and two tins of Peter Heinrichs Dark Strong flake were dented. Why don't you just return the tins and get new ones?

And … he decided you should send them back first - we get it - you are being unreasonable. Like once you got them you could all of a sudden be bothered to go to the post office - tipped your hand on that one. :ROFLMAO:

He sent you a return label, take it and get this done. And this is all about 2 tins? Why didn't you just open and smoke them? The cents would have been irrelevant.

According the their first email, the seals are intact.

Is this the fourth time you’ve posted this? You lied about problems with recent orders, you stooped to insulting his family, God save any retailer from jerks for customers.

Well, I commented here bc of the lack of customer service and personal responsibility on the sellers end. My concern is that I plan to cellar these and that they are now less likely to keep seal long term compared to undented tins. Kyle Said in an earlier email that he would ship the new two tins right away And that I can ship the damaged ones at my earliest convenience. Then he followed up hours later that he wanted to dented tins back first and then he’ll ship the new tins. I want everyone here to see when purchasing from nova that if they make a mistake they don’t take responsibility. Had he said in his email, so sorry I was in a rush to get to the post office before it closed and I must have missed the packaging, I would have said, you know what don’t worry about it, I’ll take my chances on these, no problem.
