Good day all! Started with Drucquer Red Lion in an Upshall P Poker with long square shank, sterling band and matching eighth-bent tapered stem. Followed with GH Brown Flake Aromatic in an Upshall P Bulldog with quarter-bent hex shank and matching saddle stem.

The Luciano Pease/Di Piazza Design Virgin Sandblast Chubby Dublin
• Design & Oversight: The shapes and finishes were conceived by Greg Pease and Luca di Piazza (“Pease/di Piazza Design”).
• Manufacture: The actual briar work was done in a small Milan workshop under di Piazza’s direction, with many of the bowls being hand-finished by the Radice family.
• Stem & Tenon: Each pipe carries a custom-cut acrylic stem and turned tenon, also executed in Italy.
So, while the silhouette and concept came from Pease & di Piazza, the Virgin Sandblast Chubby Dublin was crafted for them by Italian artisan workshops—most notably Radice—and then branded “Luciano” and “Pease/Di Piazza Design”

Dipped into a jar for a bowl of year 2012 Astley’s No. 55 in a 1978 straight smooth brown BBB Silver Mounted 522 pot with a silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Watching the Cubs-Cardinals game. I like hearing Chip Caray doing play-by-play. He certainly is better than the slacker who replaced him in Atlanta. Harry the Hairy jumped on my lap to get attention, and then went back to snoozin' by my feet.

I’ve been wanting a handgun, too… maybe I’ll skip the 10mm’s you guys have been talking about and just do this thing.
While 10mm is a great cartridge, there is much to be said for the humble revolver. Also, revolvers are a potential gateway drug to hand-loading, an honorable and productive pastime. Save your brass, friends!
Edit: come to think of it, the S&W 610 is a 10mm revolver, so you may have the best of both worlds (or the worst, depending on who you ask)!

After-dinner bowl of Kentucky blend in an SMS, whilst contemplating popping an old tin of Dunhill Royal Yacht i've had in the cellar for quite a few years. The real dilema is whether to open the one with the painted lid (made in UK) or the one with the sticker (manufactured in Denmark). This gives me about an hour to stare em down through whisps of smoke like an old gun slinger in a spaghetti western.
