In my humble (and very subjective) opinion, Robert McConnell Marylebone bears a strong resemblance to the old Dunhill My Mixture 965 — at least that’s what it brought to mind while smoking it. I haven’t had 965 in years, so take that with a grain of Latakia, but the memory stirred. The blend smokes cool and steady all the way down to the bottom of the bowl — no bite whatsoever. Absolutely tongue-friendly, smooth, and satisfying. The Latakia is subtle and refined — not overwhelming, but just enough to provide a gentle smokiness. Perfect for those who enjoy soft English mixtures without too much weight. The flavor balance is outstanding: nothing jumps ahead or feels out of place. Everything unfolds in harmony from first light to the final puff.

Verdict? A top-notch all-day blend: flavorful, smooth, not too heavy, yet with enough personality to keep things interesting. I truly recommend giving it a try.
