Presbyterian in a Briarworks made for the 45th Anniversary of Bruce’s Pipe Shop (also known as B&B) in Asheville NC. Briarworks chose this shape because the stamping would fit on the big shaft. I’m pretty sure that’s the story I was told. The stamping is much more crisp than the photo shows. Not sure if this is a Rhodesian or a Bullmoose but it looks like a Mooseknuckle when it’s in my pocket. 😬IMG_5097.jpegIMG_5099.jpeg

Out on a walk in nature with my princess. I brought along my Nording Compass pipe and C&D Oak Alley tobacco. A perfect companion for the forest trails: rich Virginia sweetness, a spicy Perique kick, and some nutty Burley in the background. A warm, peaceful blend. Meanwhile, the dog is busy hunting mice in the tall grass — a tradition she never skips.IMG_5041.jpegIMG_5037.jpeg

Almost finished this bowl of Macanudo America Blend in a Santambrogio. Great, mild smoke it's been.
Iced coffee, cream/no sugar, to drink. :coffee:
NIce, muggy but breezy Texas night on the back patio.

:coffee: Quick aside on the coffee, if you're interested: I noticed a certain brand showing up in @JimInks posts a lot -- Gold Star. I've also always wanted to try Yemeni coffee, so when I noticed him drinking "Yemen Mocha High Grown," well that prompted me to order some Gold Star (from Canada). It's excellent! They roast the beans freshly to order. So, thanks to Jim for the passive/indirect/unintentional "recommendation." Also have the Peruvian Machu Picchu, Sulawesi, and Papua New Guinea, to try. 👍;)

Love this Forum for discovering new stuff, and not just tobacco and pipes!!! 😻

Did a little low calorie snacking, and am smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Fed all the ferals except for the still absent Abner the Eager. Only Harry the Hairy stayed in, and he's busy moth hunting. Earlier today, m'lady went around the neighborhood again looking for Abner. There's another black cat around the same area that Abner ventures to, and she thought it might be him when she saw him, but it wasn't. She gave out her number to a few people in case they see him.

Glad to be of help even incidentally. I think the Peruvian Machu Picchu is the best Gold Star blend that I have tried. Their Kona coffee is super excellent, too. Nightwish is Kona with 50% decaf Kona, but it makes no difference in how good it is to me. I also recommend Jamaican Estate Reserve, and if you like mocha, mmmMocha is excellent.

Haven't tried Sulawesi, and I look forward to your thoughts on it when you do.

Awesome! They certainly have several tantalizing options. They also seem to run a tight ship, and I'm happy to support a small Canadian company. Thanks so kindly for the "direct" recommendations. Cheers!

Since the term “Rhodesian” is outdated, I suppose you could call it a Zimbabwean!!!

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and have about a third of a bowl left of year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Reading baseball box scores.

Passing the half way mark of this bowl of year 2000 SWRA in a straight smooth 2024 Peterson Red Killarney 264 Canadian with metal accents around the shank and a black acrylic p-lip stem. I'll end the day with this smoke. Just fed Tomato the Brave, who wanted out as soon as he finished. Daisy the Feral Princess is eating now. After she finishes, I'll bring Harry the Hairy in to eat.
