Freud was a coke fuled fraud.
Fraud or not, the humor - the oral fixation type - lends itself to many of the posts that are placed here. Yeh, it may be juvenile, but the irony of so much of what is posted here seems like a much too easy target to pass up, you have to agree, LOL.

The bottom line is, sanitizing pipes correctly, and refurbishing them properly, one can turn a used pipe back into what is essentially a new pipe.

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair."
Yep, even Dickens was an opium addict.

I personate a Victorian farm bailiff, circa 1900, on an old-style working farm. I find that smoking Victorian pipes rounds out my credibility - and how else can I get a nicotine hit at work? (OK, snuff, but - meh, and cigarettes are right out). Sure, I could buy new clays, but for some reason they barely last a day or two before I break them, so an estate pipe, loved and clearly not abused by some repulsive old codger, is the perfect, affordable solution. Besides, pipes of a design you don't see sold new any more offer an interestingly, subtly different smoking experience. I'm not troubled by the imagined ghosts of predecessors using heritage toilet seats, either.

The DNA double-helix strand was understood first when one of the pair of researchers (can't remember their names) was under the influence of LSD...........
Many, many stories of such things.

Some people have a deep-seated need to ridicule others for choices that have zero impact on them. It’s a control thing. Or maybe it’s obfuscation, calling out someone else’s behavior to mask the shame of their own deep-seated weirdness. What can I say? People are strange.

It is indeed a control thing. The only thing men love to do more than control other men, is control women, and we know where we get the guidelines to do that.
