Tim West Pipe Repair/Tenon Replacement Or?

Dropped a pipe last week, I need a Delrin tenon replacement.
Is Tim West still doing repairs? I emailed him twice, thru the JH Lowe website but haven't yet rec'd a reply.

I just got off the phone with him…

I sent him a Preben Holm Freehand for a tenon repair about a week and a half ago. He’s running about two weeks out on the repair as of now.

So yes, he’s still doing repairs. Probably better to call, on the phone, old school.

He did some word for me late last year, in fact it was a similar situation… I dropped a favorite pipe.
I found a phone call works best with him as he is usually on the verge of being over booked in the short term.
Repairs were done well and at a reasonable price.

Just a heads up, I called and talked to him today. I told him I was following up on an email I sent and he told me that the email addresses on site are no longer any good.

best he updates or removes them completely then ,that would stop people complaining he doesnt answer e-mails

He doesn't have much use for email. Not everybody does email. Websites go out of date.

He fixed a pipe for me last year and I am very satisfied with his work.

He rec'd my pipe in July. I called him in August (he always answers) and he said it was making his way to the bench. I better call him for an update.

My Stanwell 90 is on its way after being f’ed over by another “recommended” pipe repair shop.
