There are about a dozen different Super Value blends and I may have bought all of them and every one is absolutely delicious and good I’ve tried.

We are this day, living in a golden age of cheap pipe smoking in the United States.

Dream Castle buys any kind of leaf they want for about $2 a pound and they age and flavor it and it retails at about $2 an ounce.

The huge drug companies and foreign cartels likely don’t have a 16 times markup.

And yet one ounce of pipe tobacco keeps a stone, cold nicotine slave like me happy for a day, at two bucks.

Black and Gold is black cavendish and Virginias and burleys and toppings and casings that are pure heaven to smoke and smell. Rich sweet cavendish, hay and citrus flavored Virginias, nutty burleys, it’s a tobacco flavored all day every day delicious smoke.

Like all other Super Value blends I’ve tried, this is very pipey and not brashly aromatic.

Stock up before the do gooders get the power to jack up the prices by oppressive taxation.

Thd federal tax on this bag was only $2.10, a little more than the farmer got for his leaf.

Like all other Super Value blends this has lots of PG and you may want to dry it some, but it smokes great straight from a freshly opened bag.

I think these were made by Sutliff, which means they're toast. The Bourbon Whiskey was pretty decent.

Funny how they forget to mention that nicotine has been known to slow down the onset of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease. Nicotine patches are sometimes used in Nursing Homes for dementia patients.

About twenty years or so ago, when our two middle sons were ten and twelve, I always tried to buy identical gadgets for them so I’d not play favorites.

One weekend we went fishing and dear old Dad went to Walmart and bought four identical Zebco 33 fishing pole outfits and handed them out to our 16 year old son, our 14 year old daughter, and the 12 and 10 year old boys. Absolutely identical in all respects except, one had a Proposition 65 stickers on it.

My ten year old got it and and was very concerned.

I sat him down and told him his Zebco 33 was much more powerful and better than the others, and such a goodern it caused cancer in the State of California if you ate a fishing pole out there.

To this day when we go fishing I remind him not to eat the fishing pole. Bad idea, wherever you are, to eat a fishing pole.

By the way, why are some tobacco blends blessed with so much of our friend Vitamin N they brag about it in tall letters and some don’t?

Loved Zebco fishing poles for kids. As a kid I dropped mine in lakes and rivers, jammed the end in the dirt when bottom fishing, just abused the crap out of it and it never failed. Got Zebco poles for my kids and grandkids; a simple design that can take all the abuse a kid can do to it.
