Every pipe restorer's dilemma - do I keep this one for me or do I sell it?

Oh how cruel could this situation be! This is my latest restoration of a 1966 Dunhill Bruyere 38 F/T ③A - stunning grain, untouched original stain, used no more than 10 times, with razor-sharp engravings and a perfect production year. It was very dirty since it has been sitting on a shelf for the last 60 years, but as you can see from the photos, it shines again. Keep in mind that the photos are before carnauba wax...

Dunhills in that shape are hard to find. So of course that doesn't help your decision.
Keep a great example of a mint Dunhill, or make some coin on a great example of a mint Dunhill.
Ahhhh, first world problems.

Lovely pipe. I’d keep it and smoke it regularly. After 60 years of being ignored it deserves to fulfill its purpose.

I have a similar conundrum with my WW2 era Dunhill. I don't envy your decision.

If you don't really need the extra money-keep it. If you get rid of it, you will be saying "I should have kept that Dunhill' for the rest of your life.

Personally Dunnys dont do it for me, but if it does it for you then Id keep it.
Money comes and money goes.

I wouldnt keep it just becuase its a Dunhill. Id have to love it.
Personally, if I didnt know it was a Dunhill Id give it a glance, think "Nice pipe" and never remember seeing it.
Im aware Dunhill fans would likey think the same about pipes I like

After smoking two bowls I have managed to reach a verdict and I am so proud of myself!
The pipe smokes great as you’ve probably guessed, but to be completely honest, although my pipe collection is still very small, I currently own 7 pipes that perform a lot better than this Dunhill. This has been the case for the last 7 Dunhills too, this being said they were all smooth finishes. I still have to try a shell one, hopefully the Algerian briar changes things for me.

As for the pipe - it is currently on its way to its new owner.

I have a 1926 Dunhill Bruyere with a Swan Neck. It is in my weekly rotation and really the only pipe that I dedicate to English type blends.
