What's Your Favorite Current Factory Model Straight Billiard?

I'm pretty partial to the Peterson 106. I also really like the 107(not pictured), although I have only one of those. Great smokers.

I think no one does a Billiard better than Dunhill - perfect proportions and balance. I have a few in my collection, including a huge Group 5 Shell, a Group 4 Ring Grain and a 2 very pocketable Group 3's in Bruyere and Shell with a leather case.

I'd consider a Kaywoodie like this one. I've got one of the newer runs of them (not a billiard) and they punch above their price point.

Salvinelli Vigna 128 or a Peterson Irish Harp 106. The 128 has a more tapered stem that feels easier to clench and has a thicker wall compared to the 106, but the proportions of the 106 feel nicer in hand. The two smoke about the same.

Sorry, but it almost has more of an apple shape than a billiard to me. The swell after the shank says that to me. Might just be the angle.

Another vote for the Peterson 106. I used to collect them in pairs with the XL90 bent billiard. They both have the same size bowl.

I was going to collect the 107 but did some research and they make very few of them, only a few lines.

I get what you're saying, but I think it's the angle, the bowl is much more upright when looked at straight on. sorry for the bad angle!

I get what you're saying, but I think it's the angle, the bowl is much more upright when looked at straight on. sorry for the bad angle!

This Savinelli gets smoked more than any other pipe in my collection. It's stamped hand made, so not really a factory pipe, or is it?
