Relaxing after a wonderful salad, brotula and sugar snap peas dinner with a small bowl of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. I was still hungry because the brotula was not a dense fish, so m'lady made me two ham cheese double egg open face sandwiches. I've a third of a bowl left of Ken Byron Ventures Jim’s Special Flake 2023 in a 1984 black rusticated full bend Peterson Mark Twain military mount egg with a silver cap and tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Abner the Eager was inside for a few hours, but when we let Harry the Hairy in to eat, he eventually decided to bully Abner. Harry was immediately put out. M'lady tried to console Abner, but he was too upset for that, and wanted out. I did so at the front door so he wouldn't run in to Harry.
Starting the weekend off right with some GH Rum Flake in the Washington cob, accompanied by a tall mug of Wernesgrüner pilsner to help with this sudden, unseasonably warm weather.

I just realized today that I’ve got quite a bit of Sutliff 507-S Stoved VA, and had never smoked it straight, just blended with it.
Can’t say that anymore, as I’m having some in a Lee three star medium pear. Not strong enough for me on its own, but it’s tasty and smooth, probably why it blends so well.
