Hi everyone.
Do you think the pipes with carnauba wax finish can bubble outside on the coating as lacquer finished pipes?
I'm planning to buy a carnauba wax finished pipe but unfortunately I can't smoke indoors only outside.
Very windy most of the time so it can be very hot inside the pipe chamber.
Thank you very much for your help and have a great day!

As Embers indicates; the wind is not your friend.
Try to find a wind break where you smoke
wax will no bubble but briar will burn out if its hotter than hell.
It is wood.

Do you have a grarage?

If not grab a light chair you can move and let your house block the wind

To keep your pipe looking its best the carnauba wax finish will require refreshing from time-to-time. You can purchase carnauba in block form from most woodworking-supply stores, but know this: it is EXTREMELY hard.

When I apply carnauba to my pipes I use a six-inch cotton buffing wheel mounted to a 5/16" x 1.5" bolt. Insert a 1.25" flat washer over the bolt, then the wheel, then another 1.25" flat washer, a lock washer, and then a nut. Tighten the nut so that the wheel does not slip. This whole assembly can then be chucked into a cordless electric variable-speed drill.

Load the wheel by pushing the carnauba block hard against it at the drill's highest speed. Apply the wax to your pipe at a lower speed, being particularly careful around stamped logos and nomenclature, and the stem. Polish at an even lower speed.

I hope that you find this information to be helpful.

Almost all briar pipes have a coating of carnuba wax when new. It has a high melting point and is food safe, in other words perfect for a pipe.
If your looking to keep your pipes shiney consider picking up some Renaissance wax. You can just wipe it on and buff it to a nice shine.
