I’m completely new to cellaring and my collection isn’t even to the guppy level yet. I like how you all created labels for your jar lids, they look great…but I thought I’d take a stab at taking it to the next level and see how etching would go 😜

What do you think?

ps. Yup, I have a typo on my combo jar…oops!

Does it do anything to potentially cause the lid to leak?
Lazer engraving? Or you just a tattoo artist?
Looks great.

I’m going to bite on this, saw it earlier and had to process…. To me those look like very carefully crafted paper labels stuck on to match the metal. Even that is impressive, as it must require good printing and scanning skills. Good computer stuff…

Or you have a computer and metal laser etcher combo, very high tech.

I just stick on paper with tape, sometimes paper tin inserts not interested in the labels on jars it’s just for storage, that’s what tins are for, but nice work!

I’m glad you all like them, thanks for the comments.

I etched the lids with a laser system. Manipulation of it’s settings produce slightly different tones, for example the Cult is a touch red, the 3P’s a deep black…a little nod to what’s in the jar.

The images all started as photos I took of actual tin labels except for the Watch City bulldog, I downloaded him from their website, then lots of manipulation in Photoshop.

I also did the lid for the pocket jar I made.
