I commissioned this from @doug535 and it is having its (lengthy) maiden voyage as I type. It is a Christmas pipe - wanted a Danish egg, mini-Churchwarden, a touch of holly - executed perfectly! Any pipe I’ve received from Doug draws like a charm. Sits just right on my chest while typing this on my phone, perfect for reading - very happy. I know @georged started a “mystery pipe” thread some time back and I didn’t respond at that time (hadn’t received it yet) and wanted to wait and chime in when I actually used it.

Said it before and I'll say it again, since action speaks louder than words:

I own appx 130 pipes. None of them are shelf-sitter antiques or only-to-be-admired art pieces.

Five of them are DougPipes: The Jug, Chonky Boi, BooBelge, The Dome, and LCDogg.

I smoke those five as much as the other 125 put together.

I'm glad he didn't give up on me - I wasn't real clear in trying to express what I was going for vs. the others we've done but he figured it out!

Haha, didn't have a chance to take a pic because I was on the phone at the time, but my second Friday afternoon bowl was in a super nicer pipe made by a certain @cosmicfolklore that he offered to sell a few years ago --- it's now been dubbed "The Moderator"!

Sorry Doug, I see I typed super "nicer" - I meant super "nice" and don't usually screw up my grammar, lol, and I know you wouldn't care either way. And I'm not diminishing Cosmic's efforts, it's a great pipe.
