All I can make out is "London, Made in England". Really curious as to what brand this is and whether the bamboo is original or this is some kind of Frankenpipe. Any ideas who the maker might be?

I dont know who made it but it doesnt look right. I cant say much about the bamboo but if its original I have a hard time thinking that is the stem that came with the pipe. It just really looks way out of proportion. It also looks like a danish style stem stuck on bamboo. Its very werid. In the least Id guess someone had a pipe and found a stem that would fit the drilling and stuck it on.
There are a lot of lower tier pipes that start with LONDON. Second word is hard to figure. Pipe? Pride? looks like it ends with an E. Could be any of the England based companies. Clean it up a bit and see if you can reveal that second word. My guess is the original stem was probably a shorty saddle stem.
That's my thinking as well. I got it as a curio and because it handles well
I'll keep you posted, if it doesn't I'll just sell it at another shop
