My first LCS Briars pipe came today and it is a stunner. This is his natural wax-finish 4-star bent billiard with horn adornment. It has a salmon/black ebonite stem with his 'LCS wave' and 9mm. I love the mirrored shape echo between the shank and the stem. Feels wonderful in the hand and pics just don't do it justice. Can't wait to receive the second LCS Briars pipe I ordered. :)

Now... what to smoke first in it...

Not primarily -- about 1/2 my pipes are filtered (and about half 6mm half 9mm). When I smoke my filtered pipes I 95% of the time use Savinelli's balsa system. Nearly all of Simon's pipes are 9mm by default AFAIK.
Gotcha. Yeah I heard Simon primarily does 9mms.

Elegant. Very nice lines and an attractive contrast with the plateau. Im rarely a plateau fan but on this it works. Sweeet!

His YT is named London calling with Simon. New Videos almost daily and showing him making the pipes. He also does at times estate pipe sales.

I’ve watched his progress on YouTube and it’s been fascinating seeing how far his skills have come. I’ve especially been impressed with his stem work. His whimsical style is a nice contrast to traditional shapes but he also does those too. Beautiful pipe.
