I like to smoke Five Bros, so I came in excited to see what else comes parched.

That looks like a very workable solution. Just keep a close eye on it as it dries. It's easy to go from a little too wet to a little too dry, and a bit quicker to get there on a warmer. Great hack, though!

In my short experience as a pipe tobacco smoker. I think already 5 0 6 years, I do not remember well. I guess I keep thinking that it gives me a better aroma, when the tobacco still has a slight hint of moisture. I have not had the same sensation of pleasure when it is dry or crisp. Although my modest tobacco cellar is not more than 5 years old, so I still have a fresh or younger tobacco.

I may have to get one of those..... I have left tobacco sitting out for a couple of days in my house and still found it too moist. Life in Alabama.

This is the one I got. Pre-heat it on low, turn it off and then add your tobacco. Amazon.com - https://a.co/d/j2RtMeZ

John is right though, aromatics need some moisture for the flavor.
