My haul from the Cargo Hold yesterday

Believe it or not the Dorchester was actually the cheapest tin I bought. I seriously doubted I ever would've gotten to try some Esoterica, I was okay with that but I couldn't pass on such an opportunity. I was expecting it to be at least $75 dollars but shockingly it was only $27. I'm going to put it in my cellar, I won't even consider trying it until I've smoked up all VaPer jars in my rotation, right now I have OGS, Marlin Flake, and Sutliff KK. The pipe is a Danish Sovereign estate, so glad I scored a Stanwell from before the move from Denmark.

Nice haul! and the Dorchester is fabulous fresh...they even recommend not aging their tobaccos. I wouldn't let that linger too long.

Not shocking at all. The internet has created a false sense of scarcity of Esoterica blends. The 8 ounce bags can be found for weeks after a drop for under $40.

I'm putting it away because I feel right now I'm not experienced enough to fully appreciate it, I figure after I finish the VaPers already in my rotation I will be better able to. I wouldn't be interested in aging it unless I had a second tin to compare.

I'm aware of that, but considering this is in Washington and the Three Nuns, Capstan, and Bengal Slices all cost me $45 and that's how much Plum Pudding costs here I'd say $27 for Esoterica is pretty impressive. The only online retailer that ships to Washington and carries Esoterica I'm aware of is 4Noggins and their rates are astronomical.
