PAD Strikes Again

I try to visit Pipes by George at least once a week since I work a few blocks away. Yesterday I left work early and decided to visit. George just got in a shipment of pipes, and since I never leave empty handed, I bought a meerschaum. It is a Paykoc that I have decided to dedicate to aromatic Lakeland blends. It's not a "WOW" pipe but the price was right and it's in line with the classical shapes I tend to gravitate towards. The wife likes it so it's all good.

Lovely meer! I hadn't heard about Pipes By George before. Next time you're there take a photo of the Petersons, Radices, Il Ceppos, and Ferndowns if you're able to.

I'll do that. He has a great collection of pipes. I don't recall seeing any Radices, but I could be wrong. The Ferndowns might be estates and I'll ask when I see George.

Looks like a solid selection. Last time I was there I restrained myself to a cursory look at the pipes as TAD was a little higher priority then.
Next time I find myself in the area I’m hoping we can meet up, and PbG would definitely be a good spot for that!

Awesome pipe. I think I’m done buying briar, sure there are great Birds Eye and grains but overall a nicely carved Meer top them for me. YMMV

I'm out of room on the dozen or so pipe racks I have so cased meers will have to do. It's a good problem to have.
