All the pipes I now smoke are very good smokers. This is after multiple rounds of culling the herd. My favorite would likely be the Altinok. I smoke it each morning, favorite smoke of the day. But I have several Rubio, Howell, Alden and a Larrysson that all smoke great.

Minus my first pipe, a basket pipe, and two older meerschaums, all of my pipes are good smokers. If I had to pick one, I would say that my Sparky's Pipes - Prince of Darkness Poker is probably my best. It's an Ozzy Osbourne/ Black Sabbath inspired pipe I designed and had commissioned.

the best so far out of this lot, of consistent good smoke and resistance to heat, is the cheapest and obscure brand : el morjane el kala from algeria

My best smoker, a Savinelli 616 KS smooth. It screams “curmudgeon” at me, I am a poster boy curmudgeon. The pipe is a mild flavorful slice of heaven. It’s huge, deep wide bowl. Perfect for porch sitting with coffee or an adult beverage. I love it so much I just order another one only rusticated.
