Anyone tried the harlequin flake method?

For when the regular fold-and-stuff isn't stout enough.
Those would have to be some tiny flakes or pipes with chambers like mine.

I don't see a problem, it's like folding and stuffing but in another direction. It must have worked somehow, otherwise they wouldn't have advertised the method.
Sounds interesting. I might try it out with some germains rich dark flake. They're pretty thin slices.

That would take a whole tin of plugged up SG flake to fill that sucker
Right? Im trying to imagine what the tobacco would have been like to make this possible. Those flakes must have been thin, short, and only just enough moisture in them to bend and not crumble.
Maybe the humectants and binding agents of yore (or lack there of) had something to do with it.

That should give you an idea of my average size pipes.
Most of my regularly smoked pipes are tin killers.
If I were going to assemble a band to play in the smoking tent for one night during a pipe show, I would absolutely call us "The Tin Killers".
