My 9 year old grandson bought a Gameboy color with one game.

Finding reasonably priced used games is tough. I wish we would of saved all the games we had. Oh, well.

The search continues...

If anyone has any Gameboy color games...PM if you're interested in selling or trading tobacco for them.

Mods, if this is unacceptable thread and it's deleted...I understand. 👍

Here you go. It comes pre-loaded with 10,000 games and if theres anything thats not on there, if you or someone is tech savy enough, you can download them off the internet for free.

Check used bookstores with movie and games sections. Some hidden gems can be found. Otherwise, keep checking ebay. Sometimes people just want to get rid of stuff, so deals occasionally pop up.

I've got all my old games lying around, I can send you a list if you like. A few of 'em might need new batteries (looking at you, Pokemon Silver), but I haven't checked.
Oh man, Pokemon Silver would be an absolute treat to play. @scloyd you’ll definitely want to grab that for your grandson.

Thanks. We found a couple of games for him today at Half Price books. We also went to GameStop...they sell Gameboy games online, not in store.

You should get him a modded handheld that comes with all the games of past for cheap. They range from $100-$200 and have every game made on them
He's really interested in the Gameboy color because that's what his dad played as a kid.

We have a Super Nintendo Classic Edition that's preloaded with 20 classic Nintendo games. He plays that on occasion when he visits.

Thanks for the info. Brodhead is just an hour away, home of Minhas Craft brewery and Suisse Haus bar and restaurant. We've been there. Looks like a road trip is coming up.
Oops...my bad. I'm thinking of Monroe, not Brodhead. I've been to Brodhead also.

I never had one (I was more of the original Game Boy generation), but my younger brother did. There might be a couple games laying around my parents house - I'll look this weekend.

I remember being on house arrest as a juvenile and picking up my brothers GBC and playing the original Pokémon (blue maybe? Or yellow). I got so hooked on that - I didn't put it down for about 5 weeks.

Right County, different town. But if you take the right road between them, you will pass Decatur Dairy (best cheese around) and our property.

If you really want to make a day of it, though, go another 45-60 minutes northeast to Edgerton and Stoughton WI. Lots of tobacco history there.
