I just finished a nice Saturday ZOOM meeting with my smoking buddies. I enjoyed some McClelland's 40th. Anniversary in the first "expensive" pipe I ever bought, a Charatan's Make 8 DC blasted bulldog. It cost me $35 in 1964, at either Cellini's Pipe Shop or at Iwan Ries, I can't remember which. $35 was serious money for a guy just starting college back in the day.
A mug of Colombian coffee with a dash of cinnamon was my accompanying beverage.
