Oriental Silk in a brand new Kim Jong Wook pipe in honor of my brand new grandson!
He was born today, healthy and perfect. My son in law is Korean, so I bought a birth year pipe from a Korean pipe maker to honor his heritage. Today the pipe gets its inaugural smoke! What better tobacco choice than Oriental Silk? My grandson was named after me! What an honor. I am still in shock over the whole day.

Quite a masterpiece.
He would've loved to hear that. Purchased posthumously, I never got to hear the story behind it. When he would make my pipes I was involved from block to finished piece and knew the thoughts that went into them. This one however seems to be the only time he incorporated stone work into a pipe. Would love to know how and why that came about.
