Altinok - 100 Bowls Smoked

May be 97, may be 105 but very close to 100. This pipe has colored great and is a fantastic smoker.interesting how I've done nothing different with this pipe while I've smoked over 500 bowls in my IMP and Altinay and they're nowhere close in coloring.

Nice pipe, and colouring. I have a lattice meer that would have about 500 smokes in it, and it has barely yellowed.

Man that color is crazy! My Altinay has almost twice that amount of bowls run through it and is not nearly as colored. I need to stop trying to "figure out" how meerschaums work . My head hurts....

Is there a difference in porousness between meerschaum brands/varieties/origins? If so, that might account for the differences in coloring…maybe.

There's clearly a difference but I think it is luck of the draw.
