RIP Weezell Has Passed Away After a Long Illness

Reading this thread and Harris's a few weeks ago makes it SO clear how and why this place works.

Tonight I will smoke a bowl in Weezell's honor.

RIP, dude


(funny but true: For years I read his board name as we-ZELL... For some reason now I see it and wonder if he wasn't having some fun with the word "weasel" )

My thoughts are with his family. I've only ever met @bluegrassbrian in person but I feel like I know people on this forum. I will miss seeing his seemingly never ending collection of meers being smoked with some tobacco with origins in the United Kingdom.

So sad to hear of his passing. Although I never met him in person we kept in contact via private messages.Earlier this year he had mentioned some health concerns. I too had noticed his absence from the forum and sent him a PM last week to see if he was okay. He was a kind and considerate gentleman and will definitely be missed on this forum. He bought a Meerschaum from me two years ago. When he sent the money I quickly realized he overpaid me by $25. I sent him a pm to let him know, to which he responded “Merry Christmas, thought the least I could do is buy you a Beer... ”

I imagine this brief interaction was only a glimpse in to his kindness and generosity.

May his memory live on.
