Does anyone know where to buy new/un-used plain plastic wrapped pouches? Like a SWR/amphora pouch but blank and with no tobacco? These pouches are very convenient for travel compared to mason jars.

Yep. If for more than a day or two, I roll up the baggie, put it in another one (or two!), and roll that up, too.

Thickness of the bag(s) counts for something, also.

Nah,
I get it. I wish there was more access to the "blank" pouches like that too. I don't like using ziplocks for my tobacco. Nothing wrong with it, just personal preference.
Agreed. The sandwich bags work, but the real thing is awesome.

EA Carey and Amazon both have the classic yellow vinyl roll up. I put my tobacco in a sandwich ziplock and then into one of these vinyl roll ups and it does a good job of keeping the tobacco fresh, especially given the dry climate where I live.

Use Freezer bags instead of the cheaper storage or sandwich bags. The freezer bags offer a better risistance to moisture loss thru the bag/seal. Just my personal experience...
