Saw it on the Instagram the other day, would bet it's some kind of 'premium virginia' blend, even the tin design seems to be shades of a homage to Christmas Cheer.

Why would a Virginia component contain an oriental? They're different leaf. Virginias are Virginias, and oriantals are orientals. A component is a leaf, not a mixture of leaf.

It's easy to critique this release, but I will say that the folks at C&D are always taking it up a notch. I would be interested in the aging of this one, along with other boutique Virginia/Perique blends they have in their catalog.

Anyone have any idea why nobody is really talking about this release? I haven’t seen any pre release reviews such as from jiminks or anyone. I’m just wondering if this is a flop and so they don’t want to give anyone a taste for fear of a bad review or everyone is tight lipped to keep it on the relative downlow so the scalpers don’t hoard it all. Would love to hear all of your thoughts.

It was in stock at a well known pipe tobacco e-tailer earlier. It's since been taken down.

I do see it still in stock at an online cigar shop (one I'm not familiar with).
