Just ordered this one tonight. The Stem is what got me to buy it.

I'm right there with you. Really into colored stems at the moment.

I got the 673. First release I was able to resist but when SP restocked a couple weeks later I succumbed to PAD. The stems on these pipes are gorgeous. I showed it to a friend that also smokes pipes and he immediately ordered the prince. I can't wait to see what Savinelli does this year. I need to take a better picture. The lighting makes the stem look gray.

It's part of Savinellis Christmas release.

Thank you, thought as much. It’s always confusing for me (a Greek), because we have St Basil bringing Christmas gifts, and StNicolas is the patron saint of sailors and mariners.
