Most Iconic Pipe Shape for tattoo?

So I plan on getting some new ink. Will probably get a tobacco leaf or entire plant, and a LOTR theme one, but for a general pipe tattoo what shape is most iconic? I can't pick; I love them all! (except for rhodesians and anything falcon). My favorite pipe is a Peterson 303 system standard, but thats not necessarily because of the shape. What shape would ya'll recommend?

I think you might be right. Although the "Sherlock Holmes" style is the first I think of when I imagine a pipe.

I’d say the bent billiard is the one shape anyone knows as a pipe, but it will likely come off odd in a tattoo, while the bent billiard would hit both targets.

The greatest shaped Billiard, not with a blast but strictly shaped is this 1966 LB.The shape is the best I have ever seen.

If you're going to get a tattoo, I second Embers' submission. The neck is the obvious spot for one of these, in my opinion. Post pictures when you're done!

For the cost of a decent tattoo you could buy a really good custom pipe or several as well as the tobacco to smoke and you wouldn't need the tattoo because you would be smoking the pipe which would be visible.
Get a custom carved briar with your face on it as a reverse tattoo !

I'd second the motion on the bent billiard, for being the image people would recognize most generally and immediately. A clear profile with no embellishment would make it instantly recognizable to most people.

The classic gourd calabash would work great as a tattoo considering the flowing lines of the shape.
It is also immediately recognizable and a classic that evokes associations of days gone by.
