I’ve been looking for an oom paul and found out about this shape. The issue is I can't seem to find any Savinelli line that has this shape in the lineup. I also checked Savinelli's website and it’s not listed as a shape option.

Anyone know if it's gone for good?

I haven’t seen a 604 in a while. They still make the 614 w/the more rounded bowl. I recently picked up their ‘21 Christmas edition in a 614. Rossi makes a similar shaped 8614. I guess they all resemble the classic Oom Paul design. As mentioned above, I’d shoot them an email?

I actually have a Savinelli Non Pareil 9604 but it has a replacement stem.

Come to think of it, I've haven't seen any 440s lately either.? They also destroyed the look of the 904 by giving it a thick shank.

It seems the 604 is gone ? Its now called the 620 but seems to be a few mm shorter. There also seems to be one with a square shank but that may have been for a limited time period.

I heard a rumor so please don't take it as fact. That they're still making them they're just not getting to as many markets as before and they aren't making nearly as many of them as they have in the past. Though if you contact them they can give a you a much more solid answer. I'd just email them and say I love this shape you guys have made but I can't find any. Would you be able to direct me to somewhere I can purchase one.

Thanks ! Good to know ! If I do that I may ask for a 604KS (19mmx45mm) in natural with the square shank to be different from everyone else !! It would probably be a custom order. :)

Yeah I ended up getting a Briarworks oom paul which I love. Why I want the 604 is because it has a flat bottom which would make it a great pipe for when I’m working around the house and need to put the pipe down.

The 6004 isn't a different shape? The stack looks taller than a 604 or 2604.

Edit*: Maybe not. I've seen taller and shorter of all mentioned. Maybe it's just variation in making it at the time.
Their shapes do have variations. When I was collecting the 904/914/9004/9005 shape, many of them had different bowl and chamber dimensions. One 904 had a noticeably thicker shank than I'd ever seen on another. The 2 just denotes a system model.

A zero denotes the four digit era.

The four digits often have narrower stems as well.

Wesleys.co.za in South Africa seems to have bought up the NOS Dry Systems from Savinelli - I have been looking at a few Dry System pipes. With Shipping I think its reasonable. If shipped out of country you avoid 14% tax.
