Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2018 Mac Baren Original Flake in a straight smooth dark brown 1918 Pre-Republic Peterson’s Dublin 2 apple with a silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
Wind has died down enough for me to have the first pipe of the day. Founding Fathers in a MM Mark Twain with, as @JimInks would say, Community coffee neat as my drink.
About a third of the way through this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem.
I'm dealing with a bite but I had to have a bowl so went with Lane 1Q in my Sav Clark's Favorite. You all likely know it and it is certainly not a rich burn but it's gentle. Like a cream soda. Once my taste buds grow back I will get back on the horse - Yup you read that right - there is a patch on the middle of my tongue with no buds!
Nothing tomorrow; I need to give the pipe a rest.
