I normally don’t throw stuff out and will re~purpose it, but MacBaren’s 7 Seas Regular literally tasted like nothing! Decent enough tin note , and I gave it several tries. I dumped the last bowl after the charring light thinking life is too short…

Buddy of mine insists on not chucking it, but blend it with something else. I’m afraid to throw good after bad though, and end up with a larger pound of crap.

What are your thoughts.

I really wouldn't throw it away. I would mix it in small quantities with other tobacco. You may have to give it more time. When I started smoking a pipe, I was about to throw away tobaccos which I now love. My ignorance made me make the mistakes of a restless novice. Give it one more chance. It is only a personal opinion.

Three words. Nothing fills a trash can, makes the room smell like a dead and rotting hobo, like Haddos Delight

It’s important to figure out which three words are important.
You really have to lay off the Holly's Non Plus Ultra mixed with Captain Black Grape and a spritz of Manscape. It's ruining your palate.

That whole line up really requires extra dry time in my opinion. It's got enough pg to slow the drying process but not to completely negate it. I really like the Royal and the Gold but the thing is both kind of tasted like nothing until leaving the tin open for a week and then giving a few hours of dry time (in the pipe usually). Like load the pipe when I wake up instead of when I leave for work.

I didn't think you smoked crack. But you'd have to be beaming up to think there is a chance anyone could survive such a toxic mixture. Let alone still have a palate to ruin. I guess you learn something new about people.

If you're curious about home blending, it does require some reading and learning for yourself but you should be able to easily get to a point where you can guessimate what you might light in a blend.

7 Seas Regulars is a pretty mild blend and if I remember correctly despite it's tin notes, the taste comes mostly from the cavendish and toasted burleys. Definitely a subtle blend.
